An elegant 1849 Victorian Inn and Carriage House in charming historic Sandwich Village, MA, the oldest town on Cape Cod, is furnished almost entirely with wonderful antiques. From the moment you enter you'll be charmed by the curved staircase, beautiful woodwork, soft colors. Welcome to "the special place you've been looking for."
All seven bedchambers have king or queen size beds with triple sheeting, cozy sitting areas, air conditioning, and private baths en suite. Fresh flowers, candles, and a basket of amenities can be found in all our rooms. Each bedchamber has its own special feature. All have fireplaces or stoves and some have whirlpool baths.
Our Gathering Room, with its 11 foot ceiling and crown molding takes you back to the grandeur of the Victorian period when life was tranquil and travelers were pampered. The original fireplace and the deep bay windows invite relaxation after a busy day.
The unique carriage house, built circa 1875, overlooks the gardens and fishpond and includes two spacious luxury suites. The suites feature fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, air conditioning and sitting alcoves making them quiet and romantic retreats.
In the morning awaken to the aroma of freshly baked breads, sweet rolls or muffins. A delicious hot entrée served by candlelight sets a warm tone to start your day. You will also enjoy fresh fruit, juices and coffee or tea. Cold beverages are always available for your enjoyment.
